Looking something this
Setterfield - Cripps - O’Brien
TDK - Dow - Walsh (likely out on a wing as well)

Part of the midfield rotations, coming off a wing

Plowman Jones Marchbank
Simpson Wetering Doc
LOB Cripps Williamson
Krezuer Kennedy Dow
MM Curnow Fasolo
Fisher McKay SPS
I: Curnow Murphy Walsh Setterfield

Rest: Pickett, Garlet, Cuners, JSOS, Lamb, Lang, Polson, Macreadie, TDK, Thomas etc

Hoping Byrne comes bacl, would still have him best 22

Then depth...............

Allows us to play 4 mids on the bench

Wow, a bench of good AFL players that can actually run and win the ball. Incredible.

Thought benches were for 2nd ruckmen and excess KPDs/KPFs that are severely limited footballers.

A team without the veterans within, 2020 with some tweaks to the squad at the draft / FA’s.

Setterfield really adds to the balance and depth of our midfield options for next 6-10 years

Cripps - Inside Bull
Kennedy - Inside Bull
Setterfield - Inside/Outside Bull
Dow - Inside/Outside Jet
SPS - Inside/Outside Jet
Fisher - Running link Player
Curnow - Runner/Tagger
O'Brien - Runner/Link Player

Cuningham - Pace & Skill
Charlie - X Factor when needed
Pickett - Tough Quick Wingman
Willo - Could be lethal wing with elite ball use
Polson - Clever Link player
Walsh - Potential elite inside/outside
Lang - Worker/Accumulator

Murphy will help for a year or so as outside wing/forward

The bolded I believe will be very good to elite. The others still very hopeful

Not bad really :)

Agree with your optimism Soapy, with a few exceptions:
Cunningham, Polson and Lang need to get the ball more than 10 times per game before they should be on this list.
