He’s Out of contract.

192cm & 87 kilo midfielder.

He’s dominating the VFL as a midfielder.

He has had a couple of AFL midfield stints. However, you doubt he will get serious midfield minutes with Cripps, Walsh, Cerra, Kennedy, Williams & potentially Docherty running through there.

Any team that can guarantee him midfield minutes could probably get him.

Was, for reasons unknown to man, played as a winger throughout 2021-2022 until late in the year out of lack of options.

Surprise, surprise a pick 5 drafted as an inside midfielder has a stunning change of form and is playing AFL grade football.

Of the listed players above he’d probably be somewhere similar to Kennedy with Williams and Docherty playing halfback or the latter on the wing.

On-baller Will Setterfield has been told he must wait until after the trade period on a new contract and is attracting trade period interest.

First Stocker, now Setterfield. If Dow is pushed to seek greener pastures as well it signals some brave decision makers by blues list management.

Personally think this is a good step forward for them.

Blues used a future second on him years ago, his value has plummeted since then.

will be a late pick now, similar boat to Francis, Ham, and other spuds, will likely be delisted.

surely if your telling the kid to wait on a contract and he gets an offer, you delist him. particularly given any pick we offer will be nominal (i.e 4th) and unlikely to be used?
We're not cutting him, we're looking for a trade. I'd be thinking 3rd rounder.
A very different story to Stocker, who you can obviously get for free.

If anyone picks him up they'll get to hear Dwayne roll out his favourite chestnut every. single. time. he's. tackled.

"Setterfield... SET UPON!!"

Rather keep him on a 1-year deal.

We're still a little light on for midfield depth, he's good when he plays on the inside but pretty mediocre when he chuck him on a wing or a flank. Very few strings to his bow as a footballer unfortunately.

A good get for the Bombers. And for Will, he will get games for them.

In saying that, he’s second string for the blues so doesn’t really impact their squad.

Carlton would obviously prefer their pick in the 40s but Dodoro will Dodoro and it will be the 60s pick.
