Will Stewart, any chance of getting drafted? I haven't heard much about him? Is he a KPP like his brother? What TAC cup side is he at?

Like his brother James, Will is another Scotch College boy. He's just not the same level talent.

Draft eligible this year but not relevant at this point. To my knowledge hasn't played any TAC Cup games and has only played for Scotch College in the APS competition.

He's not nearly as tall as James. James was interesting because he is 197/198cm, had a late growth spurt, had excellent skills and excellent athleticism at that size.

Will hopefully has more growth in him but he's only 190cm and hasn't done anything yet to suggest he's of any genuine interest.

He could be someone with improvement who you could look at for the VFL rookie list as a project though or otherwise if he wants to pursue a career in the AFL could go back to the TAC for another go as Langdon did after being unlucky in 2012 to be overlooked after that very strong finish to 2012.

Will Stewart plays for Sandy Dragons and will wear #38. Listed as 190cm and 70kg here so although I don't know the date of this document, you'd think he'd be pretty scrawny.

Will is listed by Emma Quayle as a player we will be "keeping an eye on" here.

At that size he would have to be a tall mid. Way to short for a KPP

What about a VFL Recruit for Next Season?

Seeings we recruited 2 father sons who were not good enough for the AFL then most likely

Darcy Moore is more then Good Enough to play AFL

What about a VFL Recruit for Next Season?

I can't imagine a guy who isn't even playing TAC Cup yet to be senior listed on a VFL list.

He's a project player. Making the VFL rookie list would be a good effort.

He's listed as 75kg in the TAC Cup record.

Emma is a good judge but I'd interpret it more as an article listing the eligable F/S prospects for this year more so than those likely to get selected.

Only Moore, Waterman for WCE and Stretch for Melbourne are certain to get selected.

Clayton, Roos, Dear are those others with pretty good chances. Cordy and Wallis for the Dogs also in the mix.

Outside of that, not seeing any others looking all that likely of this years F/S crew.

So would you be Surprised if Pies pass up Moore?

Do you take much into Emma saying Quyale saying Moore could be Best Player in the Draft?

I wasn't talking about Moore, I was replying to your question and because they took Ned McKeown and Dylan Orval this year on the VFL development list. I would say he would stand a reasonable chance of getting picked up.

Don't think we can draft them as Father/Sons as they are past 18

Nope - That was part of the old GWS and GC Compensation

The compensation was those year they had first rights to anyone who had previously nominated for the draft but for GC that was 2010 and GWS that was 2011. that is all gone now. Say Kelly didn't get to Adelaide last year and had a stand out year as a 19 year old in the TAC cup we would be able to draft him via the father son rule

Moore is looking better than last year. He's healthy now. He looks like a clear top 5 selection and and looks the probable Pies selection if he remains healthy and keeps improving which is what I'm expecting with the signs so far this season promising.

Only 190? since when has that height been an issue for a prospect? where does he play what role etc?

I get he must be a long way off drafting but highly doubt its a height issue??

Even if her is a under sized KPF whats stopping him being a 3rd med fwd at AFL level?

Every thread on the Collingwood board ends up with Moore. Everyone has always know he has talent it was more a question about how he would comeback from the injuries

190cms, 75kgs - Will is playing for the same side James was playing TAC Cup for, which is the Sandringham Dragons. He hasn't featured for Sandy in any of their three TAC Cup games so far this year. I didn't overly notice him during the trials and practice matches, either - so i'm sorry I can't offer much more than that.

He hasn't made the Vic Metro team either, so I'd say at this stage he wouldn't be on our radar as a potential father/son this year.
