Completely different situations. While I am a massive Judd fan and have no real problem with West Coast/Carlton, (weird for a Geelong supporter I know) I can understand why the Eagles would boo Judd. It was seen as betrayal and disloyalty by many supporters.
The Cousins situation.. While I think he deserves a 'booing' more than Judd did (not saying I think he should be booed, simply that he has done a worse thing than Judd... IMO) he won't be booed. The West Coast fans applauded him in his comeback game and while he'll be at a different club, like everyone else has said.. most Eagles fans still have great admiration for him.

Less than 1% member turnover each year.

I don't think the crowd will boo Cousins. Some morons will to begin with, but when it becomes obvious the crowd in general isn't they'll tone it down.

Hell no. Cousins was cut by the Eagles. Its not like he turned his back on the club for money and bigger media attention.

IMO there are bigger chances of abuse being thrown at the Eagles for cutting him instead of booing Cousins.

I think some sections of the crowd will go along to get smashed and boo him with all their might. However, I'd expect this will last for the first quarter or half at the most. There may be scattered boos about the place.

True Eagles supporters will never boo Ben. He is the greatest player to have ever worn the Eagles jumper. He will always be the favourite son of the West Coast Eagles and I wish him every success at Richmond. I hope he is able to help the Tigers and help the great Richoman to play a few finals games.
Juddas was a completely different story. He was never the true captain of the club - just a mercenary who is only interested in money and was keen to skip off once we had delivered him a premiership medallion. I hope he never has any further success in his football life. I will boo him each and every time I see him on the field til the end of his career. He and Carlton deserve each other.

I was at the game and the booing increased as the game wore on.

The next time Judd comes to Subi it will be very loud from the get-go.
