Dogs copped a heap of stick after 2016 with the Bradbury tag. Probably fair to view the 2018 WCE one as the same. Unless of course #VICBIAS robbed them in 2019 and 2020?

Actually the 2018 flag is similar to the 1999 flag to be honest.

In 2018 west coast was like north in 1999, they had the easier preliminary final. Richmond was close to unstoppable in 2018, but lost in tje preliminary final to Collingwood. If it was west coast vs Richmond in that 2018 GF, Richmond would of won between 20-40 points dependings on what stance the eagles take.

You look back in 1999. North beat Brisbane easily in one preliminary final. Essendon lost to Carlton by a point in the other prelim final.

North beat Carlton by 35 points the next week. Had Essendon won and faced north, Essendon would of won by at least 30 points.
