He’s from the HUN. On MMM earlier in the week another HUN “reporter” said that the pies couldn’t fit him in unless they lost De Goey.
And if they consider Lynch more important then lets throw 900k at DeGoey

Sic wouldn't be nearly as effective as a pack marking target as he is an intercept-marking & rebounding defender

Besides, if he clunked a few then he'd find himself on the outer, just like ol' Cegsy
LOL.... Serves Cegs right for NOT bringing the ball to ground and taking clean grabs... Who does he think he is??? :D

Well apparently we’re 4th, behind tiges, Collingwood and Cats on the arbitrarily derived “destination club ladder” on afl.com.au so best we move on o_O

We seriously have some nuffies on this board. The destination ladder is about right. Whilst we are still a destination club, our appeal has diminished significanctly since the three peat years

We are not getting Lynch, that is pretty obvious, it’s probably Collingwood and Richmond second. Collingwood will re sign de goey and moore and still find a way to bring him in.

Nothing we don't already know. That sentence in the Adelaide paragraph that caught my eye though...

"...while rumours persist contracted forward Mitch McGovern wants to move to Victoria, with Hawthorn understood to be at the top of his wish list."

The news guy of SEN breakfast said on Friday morning that Lynch didn't want to go to the Hawks. He didn't really elaborate, except he said it looks like the Pies.
And yet on SEN’s AFL Nation that same night, the panel were pretty strongly suggesting it was down to us and Richmond, with Collingwood unlikely. Pies possibly preferring to stick with Cox and a smaller, quicker forward set-up.

Also, he had some chin wag with Sicily before the bounce that was longer than a how do you do. Maybe reading too much into it.
And just to add at the coin toss him and roughy shock hands then roughy went back and gave him a tap an the bum. It’s happening gif.

All the junior McGovern talk tells me we aren’t in with a real chance with Lynch.
Essentially have to trade for both and we are after a gun mid as well, we can’t expect more than two inclusions imo.

Clarko was asked today whether O'Meara will be in Lynch's ear trying to get him to play for Hawthorn...

AC: That will all work itself out in due course....

Is that some indication of confidence in landing Lynch or just avoiding the question?
For a long long period of time over the course of the last few years we have got in his ear and if O’Meara isn’t available to talk in his ear then another soldier steps in and I’m confident that if we do our best speaking in Lynch’s ear that we will get the chocolates and Lynch will get a lick of the ice cream

He's gotta be number 1 priority now after yesterday. Roughy is done. We've never been more desperate for a quality key forward than right now.

Now you just need to whip out the old guitar and sing that.
