I have mentioned on this forum many times - that 2025 isn't going to be our year because of our mid-field - with a semi final appearance being a strong achievement and a preliminary final appearance being above expectations and a huge outcome for our team.
Day going down confirmed my thoughts with the above and makes our current position of being a 50/50 proposition heading into a Semi Final after winning an interstate final a significantly greater one.
In saying all of the above - there was only one team this year I thought we were no chance of beating and that is Brisbane - but Brisbane without Lachie Neale
is quite unlikely to make a GF (only way we would meet them) - I still do not think we will win this year - but I am at 10-15% now
