Will the heat come on Tom Lynch?

No he's been playing well since he arrived. Would be in the top 5 key forwards in the comp, has often been playing a bit injured. Can't ask more than that.

He's handy for them and plays a vital role. I don't think they win the flag last year without him. But as an individual player I've never really understood the massive amounts of hype he has received. He's a good mark and kicks goals but when that isn't working for him he is pretty useless. This doesn't mean I think he's a bad player, just that I'd take a few forwards before him. He's in the perfect situation these days at Richmond with Riewoldt next to him.

He is a specialised player, somewhat like Ben Brown but plays closer to goal. He is there to either mark it or bring it to ground and to be a finisher. Isn't a playmaker like Reiwoldt has become and he will always be heavily dependent on the supply getting deep into the F50, if it doesn't he does nothing.

Has been very effective at his role for Richmond and a very good investment from them. Unsure if he contributes enough to the team orgies though, seems kinda a sour cat.

Been pretty bloody good if you ask me. Worked his way into last year after a very minimal pre season. Has been ok this year and not helped by a broken hand. Only Hawkins and Dixon as key forwards with more score involvements this season.

Lynch couldn't beat a 1v1 against a small defneder if he tried.

Relies on umpires to give him frees and get cheap goals out the back.
I don't care how he kicks them, as long as he kicks them. Brisbane would do well to take note, having kicked a ridiculous amount of behinds against us in the last two matches we've played. Now back to my Tom Lynch 2019 premiership season highlights package.

Wasn't he pretty cheap for the first couple of years and then the money really escalates for the rest of his contract ?

Yeah it was a backloaded contract so we could afford to get him in 2019, which worked out pretty well.
If he ends up kicking 300 goals for us and a flag, that’s A+ recruiting.

Obviously the game of your life in a prelim and a flag in your first year cures a hell of a lot - if not all - ills. But this guy has played 33 games for Richmond now and in more than half he has registered single figure disposals. Too often he has no influence and you forget he is even out there. The Tigers may well win the flag again and they won't care how he plays if so but about his performances would have to be concerning them now considering how big of a signing he was.
You have NFI and your post is laughable. Ask any Richmond supporter who has watched all of Lynch’s games and they will tell he does his job as expected. He could have gone to you goys or the Pies thank God he made the right choice.

Strange this tough guy act has developed now he’s at the Tigers, didn’t see this energy when he was at the GCS.

Bullshit, he's always had a dose of on-field mongrel.
