Not suggesting they wouldn't, but you could take half the key talls out and the WCE wouldn't miss a beat.

eagles dont flood so he is up against it and does it week in week out, towelled up riewoldt and then didnt let kosi get a sniff yesterday in the 2nd half.

WCE don't need to flood much - they generally pressure the ball carrier enough, block space for leading forwards and prevent quality ball from getting into their defensive 50. It all adds up to an armchair ride for a key defender compared to many other clubs.

Neither of the above Saints players have kicked much against other defenders this year. How does that performance make Glass outstanding? Shouldn't we also judge him on efforts like the day they played us and he had to be moved off Schulz because he was getting flogged?

I don't think Hall's a defender (and have consistently said so), he's just been forced to play there. I don't think he's as good in defense as Glass is, but having said that, if Glass played the same years for us in defense as Hall has, his reputation would be very different.

Thursfields 83kgs, was 77kgs last year from memory. Another 5-7kgs over the summer wouldnt have an adverse effect on his aerobic capacity i wouldnt think. Just let him keep progressing the way he is, hes a gem
