I think what is ruining the tigers is that for the first time in 3 years they actually have some injuries and their lack of depth is being exposed.
This is pure myth we were without Riloi Edwards Houli for minimum eight weeks last year. Maybe media don't rate them as much as injured Pies. The difference is our top four are now in danger of missing multiple weeks. Tom Lynch haa been fantasic based on limited preseason.

Amazing how in the space of one preseason Conca, Miles, Lloyd and Ellis(has claims on worst player in the AFL) have become the most important players on our list all of a sudden.

We’ll have Miles at full back to replace the 5x consecutive AA player and we’ll have Lloyd at Full forward to replace the 3x Coleman medallist.

These guys would have moved on if Lynch didn’t come anyway. They weren’t getting games, no one wants to run around in the VFL when they could be playing in the big leagues
Miles would be an upgrade to Martin this year though :$

You mean Prestia not Edwards, and all 3 would rate above Collingwood's supposed outs last year

Of course we had a good run with injuries with our A graders. But they collectively have missed few games since they started. But our injury list is more than substantial. Rance, Riewoldt, Houli, Grimes/suspended and Caddy is substantial. That is 5 of our best 10 players. Not many clubs can boast that. Martin has been pretty well tagged out of the game as well, much easier when your collective midfield is being beaten. Will rebound, but no yet.

That lack of depth seemed pretty good today.
We have unearthed a couple of young players in Stack, Ross, Balta and Baker. All look like they will have a career.
Our VFL side has been top four for the past 2 years. The no depth theory is funny

He is kicking goals, that's the main thing, but what he does without the ball is woeful, each week nearly all his 5-10 disposals are shots at goal.

Need more from a big guy like that.
