I think we should give Davies another shot for Caracella - He's capable of winning the ball, and he didn't play all too badly against the Dogs.

Also, I think he could become a tall, run-with player if given a specific role, somewhat like McDonald from Melbourne. He's handy in defense because of his leap and hands overhead.

However, I'd also like to see Rowey or the Booch get another chance.

i would like to see cook>Booch>Rowe get a chance for cara
i think as some1 said earlier that obrien will get a go for maxy!

Rowe was very good and I liked Yakka's game but I think you guys are forgeting R.Shaw. He will be back this week along with Taz and Harry.

Three players in our starting 22 are out injured and we still have quite a bit of depth. Thing are rosy at Collingwood. ANd just one more thing, how did derro last so long on this site?

Rowe is the perfect replacement for Carracella as Blake has been playing the floating wingman role more than the small forward role. We have a number of players who can be that extra small anyway: Burns, Holland and even Johnson.

Agreed 100% that they play a more or less identical role (Carra and Jules) however Carra never misses a target, whereas Jules....well you get me.

Yakka and even Rhyce are better field kicks than Jules - this should come into consideration I'd think?

Cook seems to be a real find, but I'm not sure that one super performance should be enough to warrant senior selection - remember it took Pendles about 4 or 5.

Regardless of whether Harry was good or not on the weekend, he always seems to play good footy at AFL level, and he is the ideal replacement for Maxy considering the likes of Green, Bruce and Dunn up forward for the Dees.

I'm thinking Rhyce, Taz, Harry and Yakka will come in for Maxy, Carra, Swanny and Chad.

Best in the 2's:
Picken was hard at the ball as usual and his second efforts were great
Toovey showed plenty of run and contested well
T.K. put his body in for the hard stuff and it was great to see him kick a major
Galea was good early and came in for some niggly stuff as usual
Stretton as usual ran his legs off, got a hard hit in the head in the second but continued on and latter kicked a great running goal.
