True but I think there's probably plenty of skeletons in the AFL's closet tooAs much as I hate to say it as opposed to the Corruption of say FIFA or the IOC.

Andrew Demetriou will have to consult his notes regarding that.True but I think there's probably plenty of skeletons in the AFL's closet too
Maybe every time he pots something he is wasted.Maybe it's a coping mechanism for him.
Should have no bearing on any outcome if the organisation has a shred of professionalism about it.

Former ASADA boss says Rioli can break silence
Former ASADA boss Richard Ings says the onus is on Willie Rioli and his team to provide any updates into why the wait for a verdict on the Eagle's anti-doping case is drawing out.thewest.com.au
It's nothing new from a few days ago, just that Willie is free to discuss the case, ASADA are not (until penalty handed down).F****** paywall.
No current season stats available
More pull is the last thing we need. There's been too much pulling and not enough real action.'Willie Rioli case needs to be resolved quicker, says frustrated AFL boss Gillon McLachlan' in October of last year.
If only Gil had some sort of pull at the AFL.
Sounds like Carbine ChaosThere's been too much pulling and not enough real action.
For what it's worth, I agree.I don't care if nobody agrees with me, but I think he needs to have final penalty reduced for this absolute BS.
He should've known his fate before 2020 preseason.
I think somewhere in the vicinity of 6 month reduction.
If that were the case wouldn't he already be allowed to be back training with the club, had he been told in the appropriate timeframe? For what it's worth, I agree.
I'm tipping a 2 year ban reduced to 18 months with a 6 month good behaviour "bond".
Yep, I think the main take away from the delays is that there's no chance its anything less than 24 months. If that were the case wouldn't he already be allowed to be back training with the club, had he been told in the appropriate timeframe?
Maybe it's still being worked out and agreed to by all parties......with an announcement imminent.....If that were the case wouldn't he already be allowed to be back training with the club, had he been told in the appropriate timeframe?
As has been pointed out a few times over the course of this, there’s no capacity in the anti-drug rules for a “good behaviour bond” to be part of a penalty. For what it's worth, I agree.

Okay then, 24 months with 6 months deducted for ******* him around. As has been pointed out a few times over the course of this, there’s no capacity in the anti-drug rules for a “good behaviour bond” to be part of a penalty.
Because a second offence is basically a life ban, there’s not much point giving someone a life ban plus the six months left over from their first offence.
You say that but let’s not forget it’s the AFL that are handing down the penalty after all.As has been pointed out a few times over the course of this, there’s no capacity in the anti-drug rules for a “good behaviour bond” to be part of a penalty.
