After listening to Lewis and others describing the collection procedure, the question is, how did this happen?

What Lewis and the others are missing, is that its not the job of the chaperone to stop the athlete from tampering with the sample. If the athlete does tamper with it, they just record what they witnessed occuring.

They're not there to prevent any tampering, just record if it occurs.

That post was on his private Facebook account, so while it was obviously going to be leaked it was not an official statement.

It was meant for his REAL friends and family, to say sorry to them. To let them know he'll be OK (hopefully).

He probably doesn't want to admit too much wrongdoing or allude to what's happened given it's an ongoing investigation.

Don't see how it evokes such an aggressive response from someone.

Sad that I don't recall seeing this level of empathy when Jesse Hogan was being roundly demonised earlier this year despite the significant hardships he's faced in recent times. I agree though, let's wait for more facts to come to light before sending Willie to the gallows.

Yeah I was pretty vocal on his plight as well.
He clearly needs help and some of the incidents look like a classic cry for help.

Hopefully he's receiving the best of care and can fight his mental demons to carry on and become a gun footballer again to boot.

As already mentioned by others the same sample is poured into 2 different containers, Sample A and Sample B. The reason being if Sample A comes back positive, they will have Sample B as a backup to test if need be.

It is not exactly what happened on this occasion. He was made to do another wee that was not diluted.

Which is inconsequential to what he is being held account to. Whether that comes back positive or negative, it won’t matter as he’s still being assessed on tampering with it. Not going to change the penalty he will receive.

Depends what’s in his system.

There are a bunch of drugs that you can’t have in your system on game day.

There are a bunch of drugs you can’t have in your system at all. Your growth hormones etc. doesn’t matter if it’s tuesday or whatever.

Seems most likely if Rioli was so freaked out to do something like he did that the reason was he had something in his system that couldn’t be there at all.
