It's nice to have a genuine crumber in the forward line again. LeCras' more of a lead-up player and Cripps goes alright in general play, but with Willie around it's not the end of the attack if one of our forwards is spoiled.

He is honestly my favourite Eagle of all time. Has an incredible ability to halve contests he should lose.

Exciting that Ryan is back playing well. They could tear teams apart one day if things go well.

Rillie Wioli hunts the footy and generally wins it. He is very mercurial. Ryan is still a concern for me, he's either hot or not. We'll see how he progresses over the next year or 2 to get a better idea.

Nah he's building beautifully now. Struggled for form on return from a bad injury at the same time the whole squad was playing like shit.

I imagine he's going to play more middle time eventually, but the sports scientists are probably too concerned about his hamstrings blowing up with all the repeated explosive work he'd have to do around stoppages.

Maybe just start him in at the centre bounce then get him to go forward.

I reckon if we beat Melbourne he's a good chance to play the majority of his time in the midfield against the Lions.

Think in a year or two we will see more of Rioli in the middle but i get the feeling that Simmo doesn't really want to overcomplicate things just yet.
That said we look very good with him at CBD's. I know he does a lot of running but i would like to see what his work rate is like? With skills/footy brains, i would actually liked to have seen him play on the wing against Port doing Gaffs role.

He doesn’t have the tank yet and I am sure he and the club will be working on this. Anywhere in the midfield you have to work deep in Defense as well as forward. He is not there yet.
