Too young to really appreciate the Neesham era but watching a few of their games on youtube they played an exciting brand of footy.

Freo in the 90s was exciting but also painful. From memory, we were up and about following the win against the Kangas in 98. We had beaten the Bombers the week before in Melbourne and we thought we were going to win three in a row for the first time in our history. We were then smashed by newly formed Port and lost two players to season-ending knee injuries (Shaun McManus being one). That's pretty much been the story of Fremantle ever since. Just when we take two steps forward - something tragic occurs. One day we'll get our glory!

I had breakfast with him once . We were talking about his hair and he said he was born bald and liked it so much he thought he’d stay that way.

So true. Remember that first game against Richmond? Not Wills, but just a game we were so close to winnng.

I remember going to the Perth Royal Show in 1994. WC showbags were sold out (obviously), but plenty of Freo ones available.

90's, what a different world back then......
