It all feels much better now we've had some encouraging performances.

There's been a release on the pressure valve with seniors getting injured and absolutely no signs of talent in the VFL. Worst possible scenario.

Now it seems like we've got three first kids who are really ready to play and even having a guy like Dane showing something, there can be pressure from below, as well as guys like Fraser, Richards, Bucks, Daks etc. from injury, to perhaps revive our season.

Having Rusling and Yakka step up, and Travis who is in my opinion strong physically and mentally, means that there's not so much expectation on someone like Egan, who can take a bit of time to learn at Willi. With the other guys looking the goods, instead of Egan having to be our definite first round gun, he can be the icing on the cake, which I think his type would be best suited to.

Still, we gotta beat the Bummers tomorrow, or we might as well throw in the towel! In adddition, we gotta drop the weakest players and there's been no sign that Malthouse even knows who these guys are!
