It was like going down to a tennis court and trying to hit ball as hard as humanely possibly with no care given to if it went in or not.

Except it did go in, a hell of a lot of times.

If this isn't the greatest upset in grand slam history, I'd like to know what is. The guy has failed to qualify at Wimbledon 5 times in a row prior to this year. He lost to Petzschner 6-0, 6-0, 6-2 at the Australian Open earlier this year.

God damm I forgot to check the coverage when I got up for work this morning. I would have probaby missed it anyway with the timing, having to miss so many great sporting moments sucks.

Who the hell is Rosol? Sounds like he played an unbelievable match. I'll have to try and catch the replay of it.

rosol just kept his intensity up throughout the match and didn't dwindle like many other players do after a set and a half. one thing i noticed though was how much of the balls nadal was hitting went into rosol's 'hitting zone' any half decent player would've had a field day with a few shots from nadal. this is now another example of how nadal cannot be considered GOAT. federer has been much more consistent over the journey, with nadal having a few early round exits (f.o, wimbledon)
