Nadal didn't look too upset at losing in the press conference. I reckon he might have thrown the game on purpose so he could go and watch Spain play Italy in the Euro final, he is a big football fan so I wouldn't put it past him.

The dude has won heaps of grand slam titles, won Wimbledon twice and is a multi millionaire so what does he have to gain by winning another one when he can go and watch his beloved Spain in a Euro final instead and put his feet up. That's what I'd be doing if I was him.

Well played Rafa :thumbsu:

Biggest fail post of all time? We'll ignore how insane that post sounds with the Euro 2012 final being played on Sunday. There is a little matter of a rest day on Sunday at Wimbledon.

Federer very clsoe from being knocked out, Julien played some great tennis but couldn't believe how passive Fed was being and it only took him till late in the 4th to realise it wouldn't work.

Havent been able to watch much of Wimbledon this year. But looking foward to a long night tonight. Enjoying the Paire Vs Baker match at the moment. And looking foward to Murray Vs Baghdatis later on tonight.

Might as well hand the trophy to Novak. No one's going to beat him. Tsonga maybe if he gets hot in the second week, otherwise he has this wrapped up IMO.

Tend to agree, but I very much look forward to Murray losing another final. In front of home fans will be even funnier.

Good comeback from Federer but he is looking increasingly fragile and to me looked just that inch slower while chasing down attempted passes.

I'll be stunned if he gets up to win the championship
How exactly is he looking fragile? It was a tough 5 setter but before that he swept through the first round 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 and the second round 6-1, 6-3, 6-2. Domination. Plus two sets down, comes back and wins it. He is looking pretty solid. Should make the semi's then the winner of Fed, Djoker, wins Wimbledon.

Kohlschreiber is a good player on grass to be fair (he did beat Nadal in straights himself at Halle a couple of weeks ago) and he played smart, bringing Rosol forward a lot and varying the pace of shot. Rosol didn't just capitulate.

Fed is one of my favourite sportsmen so I am not criticising him. However I seem to see a slight but nonetheless real lack of zip about him. Of course heremains the greatest talent.....incomparable. However I fear for him is he plays Djokovic.

That's embarrassing but if it were a wildcard ranked like 200th against Sharapova or something it would be kinda understandable but the 10th seed, runner up at the French Open to not win a single point in a whole set against a lower ranked opponent. Well... shame.

give them equal pay now! :p

man i hate rest sunday. screw tradition
