This probably better explains the point I was trying to make. Might have been a genuine act once upon a time but now just seems a staged photo op. it's a little thing but jeez it shits me

Andy played great, it was meant to be for him today. Worthy winner. Must say though that he's a bit bland though... he just won the slam that he's been chasing all his life with all the country on his back as well.. his celebration was a bit of an anti-climax. The last game was absolutely intense though, I'm convinced if Novak pinched that game... anything could've happened. There literally isn't anything between these guys though. Both are head and shoulders above anyone else on tour athletically and defensively. Some of the shots they got back... my god, it was crazy. Murray just had that tiny tiny bit of extra ability to flatten it out and hit through the court a bit more (his improvement on his forehand wing helped him out no end).
 
i do enjoy how England double dip with sports when it comes to the Olympics and tennis. Go those scottish... err i mean British lads!!

FWIW i didnt mind the crowd. Obviously they were all on edge and some with poor vantage points think the ball might be travelling out when it eventually landed in. If you want to see poorly behaved crowds, just watch the Spanish in the Davis Cup. They are disgusting.

I reckon the big difference was gameplan. He really hammered Djokovic's forehand over and over and over to get him out wide, then when he got one drop short he just slammed it crosscourt and made him hit the backhand on the run. Won him so many important points.

Ah true, think it was the Aus Open, Djokovic won and you could see him actually getting frustrated with the press requests as he had to keep kissing the trophy at different angles.

Phew... Hard to tell at times, have known people who have said that and been serious. God just imagine those Fanatic idiots who follow the Australians around if they had free reign, I'd be embarrassed to admit I'm an Aussie out of fear of comparisons.

My other bright idea is to make tennis a full contact sport- encourage more shots aimed at the body, and at change of ends you are free to hip and shoulder your opponent.
