These are some very difficult seeds to face in the 3rd round for the top 16 seeds! I can see some of these guys knocking out some of the top 16 seeds in that 3rd round. Going to be a sensational 2 weeks I think.

I can't wait to see the draw! Some tough matches coming up either way.

Great list! Only one I wouldn't have in there is Wozniacki. Women just don't win Wimbledon without power off the ground.

I was struggling after 7. Kontaveit is a good suggestion. Will need to play lights out like Ostapenko but has just won a grass tournament IITC. I heard that her ranking has climbed from just over 100 from April to just outside being seeded at this years Wimbledon. quite a raise.

On possible winners

personally, i would lay(or bet against) Aga, Barty and Domi. Barty is too inexperienced, Aga and Domi have no form whatsoever.

This is shaping up to be one of the great tournaments.

Federer and Nadal in the twilight of their careers back to their very best. Murray the hometown hero and Djokovic the most dominant player of the last 5-6 years (regardless of current form).

Wawrinka and Raonic at their best as well and potential challenges from Zverev, Cilic, Nishikori etc

Kyrgios to play deep if he's injury free too.

Can not waaaaaaaaait!!

Why? He's been ordinary on grass compared to the other 4.
Wimbledon is the only Grand Slam that makes adjustments based on the surface and past performances.

And in this case, it's not a matter of promoting someone from 15 to 13 or something inconsequential like that. It's taking a guy in the top four and seeding him outside it, which ensures a tougher QF draw.

And if you look at recent history, Nadal is probably the least comfortable on grass. Nadal hasn't made it past the fourth round at Wimbledon since 2011. But Nadal holds his spot, while the Stanimal gets demoted.

When are you going to add something that isn't a smart alec response.
If the cap fits.

You're spinning your wheels about guys who haven't won shit between them. Apart from Del Potro.

Do you really think Federer or Murray will lose sleep over facing Gasquet?

The reality is that the guys at the top have put a fair bit of distance between themselves and the chasing pack. Do we really have to pretend these also-rans are better than they are? What is the point of that?

You say the same thing in tennis threads and honestly it got old a while ago. We get your point of view at this point.
And what's that?

Nadal has won 2 Wimbledon's its fair to say he has a better grass court record period.

Wimbledon has the correct seedlings and it works well.
