Didn't expect a set but was hoping for a tie break. I thought he struggled on serve and in rally's more than I'd hoped.

Or we keep continually overrating our players, he's ranked where he is for a good reason, yeah he's had injuries, etc.
Probably good that we get to Kyrigios and Barty being the last two left quick.

Basically is a Lucky Loser, or as they put it an "alternate". You can put yourself down as an alternate if you lose in qualifying and you might get an opportunity if a seed withdraws.
