He digs in real good. Kind of like a Glenn McGrath of tennis, doesnt necessarily have the pace but can land balls exactly where they're needed.
Nothing personal against john, but he is not like glenn mcgrath in any way..mcgrath is a champion of his sport who delivered in clutch moments. Millman falters far too regularly and in big moments is too passive or makes errors.

I think Hamohawk meant in terms of where he places his shots, like McGrath’s line and length. Agree he is too tentative when he has his opportunities, plays better when his back is against the wall. It’s not enough just to fight though, he needs to back himself more and try to win. Still he’s improved quite a bit in the last year I reckon.

There’s a bit of Rafa hate going on in here. He’s a great man. He’s The King of Clay. All hail Rafa.
yeah, no rafa hate. just hate rafa time wasting.

also testing the waters. If i said that during the french open final thread............

John has improved certainly. I understood what hamohawk was saying but i disagree. Millman cannot place his shot exactly where he wants all the time. If he was able to do that, he'd win a lot more often.

Well not exactly all the time but who can? I think he’s pretty consistent and can out rally a lot if players remembering he is only ranked in the 50s.

Well Millman loses but played pretty well against someone who served 34 aces. Despite his shortcomings I find him fun to watch as he makes the best of what he’s got and always has a real go. Would much rather that than watching a player who tanks or one who throws a tanty.

So Pouille's out.

Few interesting matches on now. Fed being pushed early into long rallies.

Radwanska v safarova just underway which is on fox sports 506

Go Giorgi.

Also looks like on the scores that this Blinkova person is doing alright.
