Kygrios Under 35.5 feels pretty comfortable to me, yes he lacks match play but the bloke hes playing has hardly played a circuit level match on grass.

Not a match I’m playing. Wary of him coming out after a long match and losing next round

I'll take the $6.80 for Gianluca.

Kyrgios comess off his first match in how long? and has to play five sets across two days.

Will be stiff as a board.

And he has a habit of being hot and cold.

Anything above $3 for anybody across the court from his in these conditions is cheeky bet for me.

Happy to be proven wrong, would like to see Nick go far in this tournament, he is fun to watch.

I'll take the 9s on Fritz vs Zverev.

Won their last match 2-0 in 2019 on hard court.

Pushed Zverev to 3-2 in their only ever other match, that was at Wimbledon in 2018.

Zverev can go haywire, why not now? For nines it is worth a cheeky hit imho.

Taken a sneaky bet on Fucsovics too, Rublev is no certainty

Small flutter on Juvan agains Coco Gauff

Best roughie is tomorrow Rybakina (against Sabalenka). She’s the better grass courter

I've lost a lot of money betting against Fed over the years and I might be about to do it again.

3s for Norrie look generous. In front of a home crowd, and he has had a good season.

Made it to the final of Queens, rolling Shapovalov and Karatsev along the way.

He won’t beat Federer, be lucky to take a set. That might be the market Fed 3-1.

Still lots of juicy odds on offer for name the womens finalists despite there only being 16 players left.

Personally I think we'll see either barty or kerber from the top half and either sabalenka or swiatek from the bottom.

But it really is still wide open.
Barty has a big advantage draw wise and should make at least the semi's.

Could well get beaten in a semi or the final though.

I'd say at a guess it's gonna be a barty v swiatek final (currently $9) but with not much confidence.

I like the look of kerber v swiatek final @ 21, that looks value to me.

Rybankina @ $2.50 (she should be fav here, Sabalenka isn't a grass courter)
Sweitek and Jabeur (overs games line), I'd tip Sweitek but no confidence
Pliskova (favour her)
Barty 2-0
Keys (will be leaving this out of the multi as Keys knows how to flop these)
Muchova
Gauff
Radancanu (no way should Tomjanovic be a favourite at this stage, just take the outsider)

Could fade everyone from the bottom half. From the top half Barty, Kerber, Gauff and Muchova would all have a chance. Muchova v Keys at $61 for a follow. Look forward to them both losing tonight.

Surely better than a 1/500 chance of hitting a ball at a linesperson ???

Unlike the US, British ones don’t go for the academy award and dive around lol

Well ash certainly turned things around after a very shakey start against an opponent playing faultless tennis.

I think from here it will be kerber/barty and jabeur/pliskova semis.

Jabeur is a good smokie for the title, but the $6.50 on offer is a bit short given she's paying $2.20 in qtrs and would be at least that in the final again.

Kerber v jabeur final @ $11 is my value tip, but think it is most likely to be a barty v jabeur final

So at lads you can still back medvedev to be eliminated in the 4th @ 8.50- his match was stopped due to rain with him 2-1 up and on serve in the 4th.

That is better odds than the 6.50 on offer via live betting for him to lose, plus you can use the lads wimbledon multi promo with the 8.50 bet as a leg too. (I checked w chat- futures legs are ok)

Using the promo (assuming the other 3 legs get up) this is something resembling a free swing at a decent payout if medvedev happens to lose:

Ultimate grass-courter v baseline smasher match tonight, jabeur v sabelenka.

The way jabeur has been slaying quality baseliners all week makes me think sabelenka is in real strife.

Jabeur to win in straight sets is paying 3.90 on SB, i'm partaking in a bit of that.

You seem to know what you're talking about, I'll tail Jabeur @ $2.28 on betfair.

For those of us who aren't tennis experts, what's a grass courter do that a baseliner doesn't?

Serve and volley more often? Retrieve more balls when returning serve? Survive longer in rallies? Play more drop shots?

I'm no tennis fanatic, but watch a bit where I can.
The main thing to look for is variation of speed on their shots from grass-courters and their attitude.

The majority of modern players (on all surfaces) sit on the baseline and only use the full area of the court when forced to- ie reactively to chase down drop shots etc.
Whereas good grass courters like jabeur are constantly changing up the speed and depth of their shots... and proactively taking balls in midcourt and up at the net... and are usually smaller and faster than the big power hitters.

Jabeur v muguruza highlights from last week give a good example of what could happen to sabelenka tonight if jabeur plays well.
It's hard for baseliners to get their timing dealing with both natural bounce variation on grass and varying speed of opponent shots

All round game basically which is very uncommon to be fair in women’s tennis. Rybakina threw that match last night if she wasn’t so dumb in the first set
