I sook about it every year. Every year it annoys the hell out of me.
I get it, Grass needs to be protected and you can't have an unlimited amount of matches on it. But Court 1 has to start at the same time as every other court, in case something like this happens. That way, you always have some live tennis. TV networks much be fuming that they have no tennis in this era of time.
