He is Italian, he was born in Italy. He's from South Tyrol (I already told you this) which is south of the border to Austria.

I've actually been there, it's in the Dolomites, a very beautiful place.
I'm just saying genetically he's more German/Austrian.

So the new big 2 have officially won the last 7 slams, and one looks like winning the US Open this year. Two full calendar years. The era of the big 3 has well and truly ended. Novak will go on 1, maybe 2 years, but can't see him jagging another. Congrats to them both for this period, will be a great rivalry you'd think, though I hope they don't hog all the slams. Big 3 were greedy enough! Lol
Probably not, but let’s not forget if Dimitrov beat Sinner, then Djokovic likely makes the final and who knows, Carlos wasn’t quite at his best this fortnight. I’m not saying it would’ve happened, but all it takes is some luck and he could jag another.

Sinner probably owes Dimitrov a beer. Not his fault of course (and he capitalised) but if it wasn’t for an unfortunately timed pec strain, he’d have been long odds to have even made that final.

**** those two are great to watch though. Just next level to the rest.

Of course Sinner was up 3 match points, so he was closer to going 2-0 than Carlos. But yeah, it sounded like Carlos wasn't at his best, but that's also because Sinner didn't allow him to be.

How Sinner has been allowed to compete this year after twice testing positives for drugs is beyond me and many others. A 3 month ban is a joke.

It's only because he didn't want to drag out the case otherwise he would've received no ban, just like his initial ruling which deemed it was a unintended contamination not doping.

Remarkable what he's had to put up with and still win several grand slams. Add the fact that many players having 3 Championship Points at RG, would be scarred for life, or least have some residual or scar tissue from it, not Sinner, too mentally strong and despite being one set down, beats the current king of Wimbledon after having lost his last five matches against him.

Since 2024 Sinner is 99-9 and playing at a level we've never seen before.

He's tested positive twice for drugs.
Once can be a mistake twice never.

So what? It's from the same sample 8 days part, which was at picogram level. Environmental clostebol dust from physio's table. You'd get more performance and anabolic benefit from a boiled egg.

Are you saying an opposition could contaminate an opponent's area with topical cream which has clostebol, and you be okay with the person getting banned just because they found one part per trillion? To give you an example, it's the equivalent of one drop in 20 Olympic sized swimming pools.
