Because he had an easy draw and played an ill Federer and didn't face Nadal in the final. Tsonga couldn't handle the pressure, Nadal would of beaten him in the final.

Twice. It's 9-2 Federer's way. Haas last win was in 2002 in 5 sets at the Aus Open. But did take him to 5 sets at the French last month.
