Well everyone it is the day that Wimbledon starts, I thought we could maybe use this Thread as a score update Thread....

BTW does nayone know what time it owuld be in Victoria if it was 12 pm in Wimbledon??
 
I just found ot then, Only 10:30 over there still another hour and a half till play starts :(

Been looking foward to this all day.
 
There are some 3rd rate games under way at Wimbledon.

But our Pratt is playing against Keothavong, should win that.

Hewitt and Federer both cruised through there matches last night.

Goran looked fantastic last night to going through his match 6-0 6-3 6-2.

Pratt went down last night :(

Tonight some of the Decent (men) matches are
D.Tursunov vs M.Safin (19) - Safin leads 5-3 in first set.

I.Ljubicic (28) vs W.Ferreira - 4 all first set

M.Fish (14) vs I.Navarro Pastor - Fish leads 5-2 first set

A.Clement vs J.Johanson (Go the Sweeds) - Johannson leads 6-2, 1-2.
 
Safin got beaten. Big upset.

Flip is up 2 sets in his match, should get through comfortably.

Verkerk beat Davydenko in 4 to set up a meeting with Philippoussis
Serna beat #30 Daniilidou in 2
Dementieva again demonstrated she isn't as good as the top 10 ranking suggests and lost to Kleinova
Gambill beat #23 Mirnyi in 3
Joachim Johansson beat Clement in 3

Todd Reid is 1-1 in the first set against Spadea. Christina Wheeler plays her first round match today, Hewitt and Molik play their second.

Victoria and NSW are 9 hours ahead. So if it's 12 noon at Wimbledon it's 9pm here.
No play yet on day 3; still raining.
 
Play starts an hour earlier today (9 AEST on centre court and court 1, 8 on the others). Reid is first on court 7, Wheeler second on court 9, Hewitt 3rd on centre court, Molik 4th on court 17. Doubles begins tonight - a lot of Aussies playing if the weather cooperates.

All the Aussies who played in doubles lost. Men's doubles has been reduced to 3 sets until the quarters because of the time lost to the weather.
