I give up. :( From 2-6 weeks to 12 freaking week. Reattach a tendon and fix a dislocated kneecap? Far out.
Interesting Dilemma now ....meesen signed a 12 month contract Iam guessing A) to have a good year and boost his next contract value or B) to allow himself the opportunity of marketing himself around at season end if he wasn't given an opportunity.

This injury changes everything and unless he comes back and surprises everyone then the Crows hold all the cards.

His trade value will be diminishing (particularly as a lot of clubs stocked up on ruckmen this draft) and with perhaps no games after 3 years in the system he might be hoping that the Crows want to re-sign him and certainly on a contract of less value than he might have hoped.

A talented player certainly with things not falling his way :(

Fair call that!

Although, I still think that there will be clubs knocking on his door come season's end. Clubs are ALWAYS interested in talented talls and will always be prepared to give them a chance. You only need to look at Laurence Angwin and Carlton.

If anyone wants to join me, I'm reading all thread with 'Cameron Wood' as the search in the Adelaide forum. Makes for depressing reading. :(

I wanted Monfries at the time and I still wish we'd taken him. :(

Really bad luck for Meesen though - it's a real setback for the lad and his future as others have already stated.

Will the marriage still go ahead as planned, or will you wait until he's fighting fit again, Drummond?? ;) :)

Report on Ch:7 said the AFC would seek approval to play Roo at Westies the week before the first regular season opener.

Just to get some run in those old legs. Which means he could come back through the Mighty Bloods. ;)
