I remember when it happened and at first they were saying dislocated knee cap, six weeks, which would be the end of the season for him and we were all jumping all over that hoping that that's all it was. We all knew how bad it was straight away and were hoping 'season' would be it.

Nathan Bassett

The advertiser says 1-2 weeks, but I don't generally have too much faith whenever the advertiser reports on injuries. ie Bode was 2 weeks from injury for about 4 weeks.

How is Bassett progressing? Would be come straight into the team when/if fit?

I think he'll add a lot to our team, but he'd have to be fit and would need to come bag soon to even play 50% game time to get a couple of games under his belt.

I think he good be the player that just adds enough stability, flexability and opportunity to make match winning positional changes on game day.

Craig mentioned the Hound is no chance this week. A possibility the next, but unlikely.

Mattner and possibly Massie would find themselves in trouble again.

Once Trent, Biglands, Bode and Bassett are fit next year - there are going to be some tough decisions to make.......and that's with Pez, Kenny, Young Mick, and Douggie already out of the side atm

Adelaide defender Nathan Bock last night had a hip arthroscopy to rectify an ongoing problem he battled in the second half of the season.
Bock, who played 22 of a possible 23 games in 2007 for a total of 64 AFL games, will return to full training in January.
And Luke Jericho will tonight have a hernia operation. He will be ready to train when the players return for pre-season work in November.
