first of all it wouldn't worth much cause its hutchings and after Eaglemaniac gets it, it would worth nothing after suspicious stains start appearing on the jumper.

Which one did you get? That's crazy.
Did you let the Team Store know? You should rain fire over them. If they can't get you the guernsey you paid for you should be able to get some money back or something.

Got Josh Hill, obviously a mix-up with the 33 & 34. Sent them an email straight away, they have sent out replacement TNT packaging to send back to them and they claim they have notified the person who got Hutch and have done the same. Pretty average all round, I was pragmatic in my email didn't give them a spray despite wanting to.
Shoulda just asked them who it was so you could go around and beat him up and keep both guernseys.
I'd rather Josh Hill tbh

Can't believe OP was just over 3 years ago. Happy birthday RTW fred xxxxx love from qstickA few (read most) of us have had enough of that tripanel thing and the tablecloth with an Eagle on it. Both do not identify with the basis of the club and were more than likely the lovechild of some marketing guru back in 1999.
In short, we want to do something to try and make this known to the club. We've tried a facebook group but I think we need to take it one step further. Ultimately, the prospects of success are low, but it beats sitting back and doing nothing.
It would certainly bring the meaning back to 'having pride in the jumper'. This thread isn't a discussion about which guernsey is better, it is for legitimate discussion on how best to get this message through to the club and how we can achieve that. I think most Eagles supporters would love to see the guys running around in that famous jumper each and every week.
E92_ will be along shortly with that graphic (as I'm too lazy to link it). For now, though, here is a draft letter that could be a basis for some united communication - linky!

RTW Facebook is promoting this weekend as possible last appearance of the tablecloth.
As much as I'd like that to be true - we've had no inclination from the club it is happening. The last few times I've tweeted the club about yellow clash for next have been completely ignored.

Wasn't the tweet I was looking for, but they're definitely keeping something gold wings related under wraps. Someone asked about the jumper after our first game in it this year and they replied with a comment that made it seem like they were working towards it coming in full time somehow.

RTW needs to keep posting to keep visibility. Getting people aware of the yellow/clash possibility will mean if it doesn't happen we've got a base to launch the push to make it happen in 2018.

Also any excuse to post the Ballantyne video, especially in a Derby week I'll take.
We were a lot more vocal on RTW last year - and Gary was a lot more forth coming about things happening.
Other than a few "looking into it" tweets near the beginning of the season, the club isn't responding at all now. After great fan engagement last year (like the tour at subi), Gary's been silent this year.
I'm all for RTW pushing the yellow - but honestly, I think we've all been slack on pushing the club on this one. We can't assume it's a done deal.
Dockers home game, but I won tickets to it - was sitting in almost a direct line from Ballantye, the post, then me - was great way to win - couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke

I recently spoke to a staff member at the club who is very close to this and they assured me the club is in the process of applying to the AFL to have a yellow clash jumper. They are awaiting AFL approval.
