To be honest, I don't mind it.
You have to remember the guernseys of today are tighter and fitted than those of 2006. I think a bigger wing may look a little silly any bigger when worn by a player.
I like the bold yellow numbers, reminds me of the 92 jumpers.

We wore deep wings in 2012 and it looked fine.;)

Midget wing tips appear on the back of the 2014 jumpers, numbers look bold and too big for me.

That looks mcshit. Numbers are too big, and no white outline around the numbers. The SGIO white box is still too big and not separated from the wings either. WC go from bad to worse in guernsey design. Whoever is responsible for this eye-sore should get given the arse. It's bloody terrible!

I noticed the AFL did not need a years notice to implement the names on back of jumpers. Its a croc!!!
The club is just playing games as usual, pretending to listen but not really listening.
They did a survey and have done nothing, even if it is a year why have they not announced they have applied for the change and told us 2015 the jumpers the members and supporters want will be in place?

The jumpers we are talking about have been played in before so they are already approved, don't see what the problem is at all.

That wingless side panel looks incredibly bad.

Ruined the best jumper in the league, just after their web poll overwhelmingly shows it's the jumper the fans like.

Telling people the jumpers are changing would mean no one would buy jumpers this year destroying merchandising sales.

Sidepanel material noticeable in photo 9. No idea why it isn't straight though
Hopefully just a training jumper

The SGIO white box is still too big and not separated from the wings either.
You will find that SGIO will have some brand guidelines around the size and positioning of the logo, so the wings wrapping around will be down to what they can fit in, rather than the club limiting the size of the wings
