as much as i hate the tri-panel the removal of the white outline on the numbers, really enhances the jumper. The contrast between Navy Blue and Gold is so good it really makes me wonder why the **** there is that stupid but of white on our jumper.

Same goes for our premiership and true Eagles jumper the contrast between the royal and gold looks awesome and makes you realise that the white we had on there for years looked shit. There are only two West Coast colours. Blue (Royal/Navy) and Gold. Let's **** this white and tri-panel off ASAP!!!

As much as that tri panel is shit, I reckon it actually looks a bit better with the side panels:confused: Can't believe I'm actuallysaying this but it kind of gets rid of that clash from one side of the guernsey from the other, at least now there is a fair amount of navy on each side, rather than solid navy on one side, and gold on the other. Still a pile of shit but now slightly less stinky!

This thing has lost all momentum, which is exactly what the club wants to happen. Now that footy has started again, we need to start raising our voices again and making our presence known.

It really doesn't make sense.

Why would the club be so against something so popular with supporters? Did a current board member design the current home guernsey or something?

I seriously don't think the club in general give a shit what the supporters think, I mean, if they did, surley things would have changed. In 2002, when we released the 1992 10th anniversary guernsey, and wore it a few times that year, the sales of it went crazy, and on the back of that the club (nothing really to do with the supporters, although we were the ones who bought it) decided to bring back the wings as an away guernsey. Then in 2011, we released the 25th peril, again sales went crazy, massive back orders of it as everyone wanted one.....yet that time they did nothing. Granted we already had a wings variant as our away, and still do, but they must have seen how much more popular that design is compared to the tri panel. Considering we are club that have changed guernsey's a fair bit over the years, I'm sure they could justify another change, I mean we have had the tri panel for 14 years:eek: time to retire it return the f**king wings!!

Another thing, maybe we need to submit a written petition to the club. I know we did the online one but sometimes those old fogey's (WCE board) want things hand written, rather than an electronic thing. Recently my wife's mate started a petition for some shade sails at a local park, she got over 500 online signatures, took it to the council, and they said they don't count, they need actual signatures from people, rather than a quick thing people do online. Now that to me is crazy and very narrow minded, I mean who doesn't do things online these days, but anyway, I just thought maybe it would have a little more traction if we were to try and get actual signatures on paper.

Didn't notice it at the ground but watching the replays later this really stood out. No it's still not the ideal jumper but at least the gold on navy looks better than the gold white and navy from years past, actually thought the back of the jumpers looked ok.

Now all we need is to apply those numbers to a royal or navy home wings

Yeh I couldn't notice at the game either but on tele its 4343534 times better. The number have been done on the Eagles jumper (I refuse to call the tri-panel our jumper) for this year too. It looks great in the royal.
Maybe the switch to bold solid numbers is a precursor to us only wearing the Eagles jumper?????
