Your right, I must not have donated, tweeted, updated the facebook page, emailed the club, spread the word, pushed for BF support.
I've done all of the above, except update Facebook. I also own 3 different Wings jumpers, plus 4 more for my kids - do I get a beer too? ;)

This was The Eagles response to my letter.
I understand your frustration because you have not seen any public comment on the matter, but that does not mean the brakes have been applied. The on-line survey saw a significant number of members and fans put their views and that data has been presented to the club Executive and Board, but we also have a large number of members who are not technologically savvy that need to be given the opportunity to have some input. This is not happening as quickly as you would like, but the issue is not being ignored. It is a major issue and it needs careful consideratio
What I want to know is as a 20 year member is why haven't they contacted me about the issue in a non tech savvy way. No letter informing us. Nothing in the Eagle Eye magazine. Nothing in 7west media sources. Nothing during games. Nothing on Eagle Vision. Nothing at all. What a load of baloney!

Ah man, old people hate change. This is never going to happen :(
Most old people probably hated the change to tri-panel in the first place.

Wings lets them remember the glory days of their youth ;)

It's the younger generation that have grown up with the tri-panel over the last 10 years you got to worry about - but most of them are too young to have a say anyway.

I want to see the yellow wings back.. but I wouldn't mind seeing a complete change all together in a different jumper

I wonder if we can have 11 "one off" games next year? Invent a different reason to have a winged guernsey for every home game...
They had a good excuse for one this year - 20th anniversary of the 1994 premiership - but no one off jumper released :/

They could of made a heap of cash, and placated Wings fans a little. Strange they haven't.

I have the 10 year 92 and the 20 year 92. I definitely would have bought the same jumper with different names on it for the 10 and 20 years for 94.

Yeah they made the 10 year 94 one, never wore it in a game, but sold retails of it. Not sure why they wouldn't do the same this year, I mean it's the eagles, all they care about is money!!

If anything, the old coots would unhesitatingly embrace the wings, because that is the original and the best.

Never underestimate the power of nostalgia!

So I'm not sure why the club sees the imperative to engage with them, because we already know the answer.

It's hard for the team to soar like an Eagle when they're surrounded by turkeys. (and have no wings)
