You'd think the amount of money they'd get from everyone buying new home and clash strips would be motivation enough for our greedy club. Obviously not.
I reckon it will happen. Maybe not next year but it will happen. They might be waiting for us to move to Perth Stadium before they change things.

Right. Which one of you runs the return the wings Facebook page?

I get it. We all like the wings. You want them back, and it looks like you're getting your way. Cool. Well done.

But today's post made you look like a right ass. There's a way of making a point and getting it across without going militia. Not a good look.

The post made the point that there was a simple solution to all this argey-bargey over who wears what on Friday night. And that solution is, just return the wings jumper (no clash there). How is that militant?

Hawthorn have lodged a request to wear their home brown and gold jumper in Friday's qualifying final. If allowed, the result would see West Coast wear the tripanel with white shorts, at home, whilst Hawthorn would likely wear their home jumper with brown shorts.

Not only does this create a jumper clash per AFL policy, it would be the second time in our past three home finals we've gotten the bad end of the deal in regards to uniform.

There's a really simple solution ‪#‎returnthewings‬
I don't see anything wrong with that. Unless there was another post which was deleted?

Must be a reply to a comment, but it inferred that West Coast had somehow rolled over to Hawthorn again by refusing to wear it.

Now, as I said, I like the idea and full props to the guys beyond the push, it looks like they might have done something good. Even more props if the navy wings come back.

However, belittling the club for wearing their current home guernsey forcing the opposition to wear their non preferred clash is just plain stupid. As someone pointed out, the sponsorships are different home and away, so the response from RTW is that the club should use iron on sponsor logos like that did in 05.

Or, how about stop bloody whining, be happy enough that the club listened to your push and are doing something about it.

It really shits me. I will admit though, strange things shit me. I may be the only one who this has incensed. So be it.

The whinging would probably stop if they confirmed that they are actually doing something about it

I am one of the admins, but today's posts weren't me, but looking at the comments now, I thought it was rather obvious the admin involved was simply mistaken and thought we'd allowed the Hawks to also wear their home. An honest mistake, and I don't exactly think the club deserves the benefit of the doubt anymore regardless.

It wasn't me. So it must have been that other guy.
