That's quite a solid team and it's hard to see how some of the youngsters would get a run. Of course, it's a fit team and once we start moving into the lower half, we start getting shakey.

Johnno Is Not A Backman........

Johnno, is not a backman. He is, and plays like a wannabee mid.
He is constantly caught too far from his man and regularly runs to the worst defensive position rather than the best in many plays. Lonie is the same.

Johhno's constantly caught in no- man's land or the worst possible defensive position - he can't read the play and attempt to get to the best possible defensive position rather instead , with an alarming degree of consistency runs to the 'worst' position, clings to his man like a limpet or stands around wondering which way to run.

Everybody praises his scintillating gallops failing to scrutinise his poor positional ability as a backman.
