LOL he translated wrong. FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) is in french the correct (most correct) translation into English would be IFAF (International Federation of Association Football)

Association Football because it was the football code played by the (English) Football Association as opposed to the other English footballs like Rugby Football played by other governing bodies.

FFA should be AFFA - Association Football Federation of Australia
