A lot of good feedback coming from people I know, one of them is a games reviewer and he reckons the the game is great as well as cut-scenes are the best he's seen in a game. Good signs, as there's a bunch of people saying similar things around the internets. I see a few 4 out of 5 star reviews.

Wowwwww talk about Nit picking......

Its almost worth not taking game reviews into consideration these days, some of them are so full of it I find.

Wonky dual wielding seriously? Perhaps the developers wanted to add a hint of realism to the game and make it a bit of a challenge, because after all I can't imagine aiming two heavy machine guns accurately would be an easy task........

Anyway it looks great!

That's funny, the Gamespot review and a few others actually think the dual-wielding is pretty good.

Yeah that review seems like its just full of it.

I love how some games/franchises can get away with horrible flaws, yet other games get mauled for having the same flaws. Last time I checked the AI awareness in Black Flag was pretty terrible, some games just seem to get a free pass though.

Just watched that IGN review, very nit picky, makes you wonder why CoD games dont get trashed for even worse problems.... oh that's right, brown paper bag payments.

I generally don't watch the reviews, i tend to suss out the score and the pros and cons. In this games case, having to pick up items and the reviewer struggling with dual wielding isn't a problem at all.

If i need to see footage i usually watch a couple of lets plays on youtube.

Is PSN really this slow or is Jeff Gerstmann an unlucky man? That's ludicrous.

Is that the update file download? Mine took 67 minutes mid yesterday afternoon on a reasonable ADSL connection. Mate in Brisbane said he had to do it overnight last night because it was very slow.

Very strange, Jeff said he could download the PC version (40gb) in 30 minutes... That's some bloody extreme bottlenecking :s

Seen gameplay, read some reviews, definitely picking this up in the near future. I've only been playing NBA on the BX1 lately and have been waiting badly for something new to play, this and watch dogs should keep me busy for a while.

Decided that I'll wait until post exams (early July) to get a PS4. I'll pick up this and Watch Dogs :)

I'm over watching video reviews. I find that they rarely add excitement for a game, but often deteriorate it.

Took me about an hour to download a 2 GB patch the other day with average-poor internet.

Must have been another issue then. So do you find PSN gets the most out of your regular speed?

I'm also on a crappy 8 megabit service and anything slower than maxing out is just arduous haha

It seems consistent. Any time I have a 2GB patch come through (which tends to be a lot between COD/NFS/BF4) I just realise that's an hours worth of playing time that I lose online.

It's faster speeds than PS3, but PS3 had much smaller patches so it still takes longer overall.

I downloaded a 2GB NBA2K14 patch when I got home from work today and it took 34 minutes.

Are you connected to your internet connection via Ethernet or wifi?

If it's wifi, is your router close and capable of good connectivity speeds, your router can make a huge difference.

Or, you know, he's on a completely different speed than you? :p

Lol my wifi connection speed is 10.81 Mbps with a ping time of 14ms according to the speedtest app.

Also I'm with Internode, I believe they have a much better connection to the US than most ISPs.

My download speeds for everything have increased markedly from when I was with iPrimus even though the local speedtest figures aren't that different.
