This is horrific.

Police have charged a 43 year old man who was found hiding in a concealed room behind a wall on the property. Police said inside the closet-like room, they also found USBs and a number of weapons the man allegedly used to "facilitate" the offence.

It's alleged the 37-year-old woman was subjected to "depraved" acts after voluntarily going to a St Marys address in mid-July. "He used physical violence, threats of violence as well as fortifications on the premises that prevented her from leaving," Detective Inspector Pietruszka said.

"The acts are quite evil. The premises itself is horrific."
He said the man's daughter was also present during the arrest and officers discovered a dog at the property in a "really bad state". The animal was receiving medical attention and the RSPCA is expected to lay charges against the man's daughter.

The man was charged with 13 offences including sexual assault and kidnapping and was refused bail before a Penrith court on Friday.

He's already fronted court but we don't have his name yet?

NSW Police searched the home on Monfarville Road in St Marys two weeks ago and seized mobile phones, but the 43-year-old man was not there.
Police searched the home again yesterday with assistance from specialist tactical resources including the dog squad and bomb unit.
During the second search, investigators found several items, including a mobile phone, duct tape and documentation. These items were seized to undergo forensic examination.
