Honestly, women they spend soo much time

1. Doing their make-up
2. Trying every piece of clothing in the cupboard
3. Doing their nails
4. Having dozens of shoes, trying all of them
5. Looking at themselves in the mirror, from every angle
6. Colouring their hair all sorts of colours
7. Asking every person they know "how do I look"

   Then you go out to say a restaurant, or a shopping mall... and you see women with eyebrows waxed in a way that u feel sick, stupid fake eyelashes, pitiful choice of clothing, shoes that they can barely walk in, $500 perfumes that smell like crap, 10 inches of lipstick which make themselves look fake... so my question is....
   
   HOW THE HELL CAN YOUS SPEND SO MUCH TIME AND $$ ON YOURESELVES, AND STILL LOOK LIKE CR@P???

There's a difference between stylish and skanky. Many women put too much makeup on and look fake, while just a little makeup to add a little dimension is all that is needed! My GF is really good at doing it!

Also fake anything sux, and drawn eyebrows or really thin eybrows are really bad!

Perfume should be sweet but light, complimenting their natural smell not overpowering it!

i don't use up too much time trying to 'pretty' myself up...it just wastes more time to shop and do other things.

My time is valuable, so I don't waste my time applying heaps of makeup, doing my nails or trying on every outfit in my wardobe.
I don't like attracting too much attention. By saving money on makeup and nail polish I have more money to do the things I enjoy life.

   If i was a guy i wouldnt want a chick that wears tracksuit pants all the time, doesnt brush her hair, has dirty fingernails and makes no attempt to at least look respectable. And i am tipping that there are guys out there who actually appreciate some effort being put into a girls appearance.
   
   Yes, some girls go overboard with bright red lipsticks, fake nails etc - but your comment about eyebrows waxed in a way that makes you feel sick?? Please explain? Would you rather date a mono-brow? Ok so fake eyelashes are a bit much, but dont you think you're a little over the top about this topic?

It's what's inside that counts. Yeah sure it helps if a person is clean but who says that someone can't look respectable not dressed up. I think it's the people like you who sound like you try too hard that look like skanks.

there are some women who dress elegantly, and some who don't. IMO as a guy, women are more likely to commit a fashion faux pas than men simply because they have far more choices in what to wear. I'm also weary that the likes of Britney Spears is the fashion role model for many teenage girls. Britney would have to be the worst dresser on this planet!

having said that, I have seen many guys who commit fashion atrocities on my daily train ride to work. some just have absolutely NO IDEA. examples: cruddy, unpolished work shoes; wrong tie knot matched to a wrong shirt collar; suits that don't fit; cufflinks worn with a non-french cuff shirt; and my favourite, sneakers won with a suit. I also saw one bloke wear board shorts to the ballet.

I think I see more nicely dressed girls with a poorly dressed guy then the reverse situation. I don't know how some girls put up with guys who dress like crap.

I'm not a big fan of chixx being plastered with make-up. Natural is best, straight out of the shower! And like someone else said, a hint of perfume is nice but when a chick finds a perfume she likes, she doesn't need to friggen marinate herself in it.

This is spot on. A lot of women simply follow what is fashionable and don't worry about whether it suits them or not. You see a lot of girls around wearing those low cut hipster jeans and they look ridiculous because they have fat stomachs or fat hips. They should steer clear of those type of jeans, but because they are in fashion they wear them. Bad look!
Britney Spears is a terrible dresser, she seems to think the skimpier the better. A definite lack of class. As for guys I agree there too. You see some who are shabbily dressed and yet expect their women to look good.

I do not spend hours on makeup and all that other crap - my nails are real as are my eyelashes. You may think my comment is shallow but i am tipping if you ever have the chance to pick up, and from your attitude i highly doubt it anyway, you would be going for the chick who is the best looking, not the one that smells and has knotted messy hair.

As Spider said, there is nothing wrong with taking time to make yourself smell nice (not drown yourself in perfume no) and make an effort to look presentable. And i appreciate a well dressed guy as well, so it goes both ways.

LOL I am a chick you loser!!! BTW you don't have to dress up too look good. I wear trackpants and stuff sometimes and is it coz I want to look ****?? NO!! Coz it's comfortable. You don't have to get all dressed up just to go out. Yeah most of the time I do my hair and makeup and stuff but other times you just can't be bothered doing your makeup and crap. Most of the time guys wouldn't give a toss if you do your makeup and hair anyway.

You need to get a life. If you think girls are obsessed with that. Thats the obsession of a 15 year old. When you get older your makeup takes like 5 minutes.

lol you know nothing about me. I'm actually already in a relationship so I'm not at all looking to pick up. Before I was in a relationship I had no trouble at all.

I do make myself look good but I don't spend hours doing it. It takes about 5 minuets not all day!
