The Women's Australian Rules Football Podcast (formerly the GirlsPlayFooty Podcast) was first established in February 2015, with 127 episodes (including 9 best of episodes) published since then.

Each week we interview guests who play or coach Women's Aussie Rules in Australia (either state league or AFLW) or wherever else the game is being played around the world.

We also recap the weekend's state league results with Matthew Cocks (VFLW), Aaron Russell (QWAFL), and when available Lauren Hodgson (AFL Sydney) and Ali Schiller (Adelaide Footy League).

Mitch Skelly calls in weekly with the AFL London Women's League results, plus occasional reports from Brian Barrish (USAFL) and Michael Currane (AFL Ireland Women's).

Since 2017 the Podcast has been airing first as a radio program on RSN Carnival digital radio in Melbourne (Wednesdays at 6pm) before becoming available as a Podcast the following morning.

New episode now online.

On this week's show we look at some of the standout players from the AFLW Under 18s Nationals with Julia Montesano from AFL Draft Central.

We also chat about Crosscoders with Jason Hill - the new program that will award an international rookie a spot on the Western Bulldogs AFLW list.

Plus, we review the USAFL Central Regional Tournament with USAFL media manager Brian 'The American BT' Barrish.

As always there's our state leagues and London wrap, plus a quick plug for our VFLW match of the day coverage this Sunday afternoon.

Yesterday I caught up with 17 women who are taking part of the Crosscoders program.

Most are from Ireland with two each from the USA and UK, and one each from Fiji, Canada and France.
