This is gonna be like watching two Year 7s punch on in the toilets.

Nailed it

From this point onwards we shall attempt to win games by kicking a goal in each quarter

Hard to say you deserved to win when you lead for zero game time. But I'm sure they'll try.
Essendon won
Essendon were good and had some exciting signs from the youngsters
Essendon led from the get go
Essendon had the clear 3-vote getter on the ground
Essendon had rotations limited with injuries impacting the bench

"how brave were Norf"

Came out looking like the Harlem Globetrotters, left looking like a rabble.

Under pressure we crumble.

Need some speed through the middle.

I'd be chasing Butters not Reid.

Our ability to transform from resembling an AFL level team to looking like the Beaconsfield U 10s is unsurpassed. Not only do our team structures dissolve, but almost every individual player completely loses composure . We actually need to start losing these sort of games so we get we get access to the level of draft picks we so desperately need.

Are we are in danger of 10-12 finish again and not debut enough youngsters again?

Okay if we have a trade target with our first but hoping we see Johnson, hayes and vigo in the next few weeks.

Probably be shiel, parish and run goldy into dust though.

Yeah, let's all just disregard being 2 down on the bench, plus carrying Goldy (not his fault) for most of the 2nd half.

It doesn't excuse all of the mistakes made. But you can't ask to play the kids, then get pissed off when said kids don't always execute under pressure.

I actually like that this team is showing a bit of grit in these wins.

Our next few games are:

Sydney
Bulldogs
Richmond
Brisbane
Carlton
Geelong
Fremantle (in WA)

We probably only start favorites against Richmond and the injuries are stacking up a bit.

Think we’re still on for a bottom 5 finish.

We have about half a dozen players who we really don't want to have the ball in hand. Can't be a good side with that
McKay
Prior
McGrath
Hobbs *
Setterfield *
The * guys can have some good moments. The fact a few of these guys are in our backline is just not going to work.

Very eerie how the two players, Hayes and SEH who we’ve been hanging to come in may pretty much come in next week due to injury…I feel like Jones was jinxed…
