What a game????????????? a fantastic effort by the boys! 38 point win over the roos.
Vards kicked 5 goals. a seasoned finals performer and really knows how to turn it up when it counts.
Robbo - rough day but popped up in the last to kick 3.
Dogga Brown - another consistent effort by Funky dog.
Bizza! - RECRUIT OF THE YEAR!
i mean im just gobsmacked right now. i wasnt that confident and thank god the guys proved me wrong.

Twas a good win!

There were times I thought "oh please just kick the damn thing" as the expected Roos pressure was making us look ordinary for a quarter & a half. Another slow start but we were just awake enough to keep in touch.

We broke the game open in time on in the 1st half & never looked like losing after that. Hard running & precise kicking served us well in the 2nd half.

The swirly wind made both teams lookk bad at times but it really was freakish at times out there.

North always struggle with our medium sized players, that was one of our huge advantages going into the game. One of them always seems to get away & today it was a proven finals player, Peter Vardy.

We matched them in toughness & just outran them again.

There were very few blokes that didn't put in. I suppose Neita would be disappointed with his kicking & Robbo never looked like it until Archer was moved away from him. I thought Walsh struggled a bit, did some good things as well as some bad.

Ward did well on King, Brown slaughtered Pickett.

It was good to see Armstrong & Lamb perform well in their first final, not at all overawed.

Overall a good day out, we've continued our good record in finals at the G.

Crows will be a different challenge, I think we're up to it.

There were about 3 or 4 times early in the 4th when Eddie said something along the lines of "Demons have got this one", only for the Roos to kick another goal and "put them back in with a chance".

Luckily Robbo stood up to be counted when he did and how was TJ's goal from 50 after the huge tap from the man Darren Jolly? One of the best passages of play and it only required 2 players!

Champion effort by the boys, and hopefully this win will buoy them for next week and the rest of the finals series!

Sensational effort. Good to see the focus was not on Mr Neitz! Great effort all round including the coaching
Also good to see so many supporters at the game. Easily outnumbered the North supporters. I did get a bit annoyed though, they have not been to a game all year, and they get in my bloody way
