Which is why holding off on Woosh's presentation to the Board til the end of September is nonsense.... unless its just a PR smokescreen and in reality he's going to be extended and they all know that already.

Really good post!

Given Wooshas assertion in 2010 (see my earlier news article links) that this group would be ready in 2012/2013 to contend for a premiership and would be doing so for 6 or 7 years from now then such obvious flaws in the list suggest he has made major mistakes ....

They said mid September that he will have a presentation...plus he needed the season to be over so he can analyses the hell out of the season.

TBH this is the biggest cop out. Our Head Coach should be the man with all the idea's, tactics and moves not his coaching panel. The coaching panel is there to strengthen idea's and tactics and offer another point of view to help the team. If they are indeed the ones coming up with the mastermind moves you have to wonder why they aren't head coach because then all of their mastermind moves will be happening. If the top dog isn't the smartest footy brain then why is he the top dog? Just to motivate? Because thats ridiculous.

How far have we realy fallen. Better draft pick. If you look at say the Pies mids check their age....our guys are getting there.....it takes time and hard work. Dont slash your wrists yet, we might be sitting here next yr going, yeah gold, where back!!

yet again? when did he prove all wrong again, he's won one flag and since then a wooden spoon. So he bought in Phil Walsh to get a game plan that got us to 4th and has now been found out. What did Woosha do just agree with Walshy? Other than a wooden spoon we haven't achieved anything since our last flag. We are in the business of flags and it's a cut throat industry. It's tough love. He needs to be moved on.

A. We'd be saying we're back - if we are saying where back it likely means we're a fair way from where we want to be and we're lost

B. We've fallen back to 13th ... From 5th.... And outside the 8 sides like GC, Adelaide, North & maybe Brisbane & Bulldogs will all improve next year

C. When Collingwood won in 2010 their key possession mids were Pendles (age 22), Thomas (age 23), Sidebottkm (19), Wellingham (22) - Ball & Swan at 26 were the too oldies... You want me to run through the ages of our "young mids"?

Your optimism is admirable but misguided.

Mate, although thats true (the stats), you just come across as a fan boy.

It's ok to think Woosha is the best man for job in your opinion - but don't be so 1 eyed to ignore the cracks that have been evident this year.

Im aware of the cracks bud, trust me, i pull my hair out watching the ****show that was our team this year....but you forget....so does Woosh. Be realistic dude, its no easy caper to win GF's....Wosh has done well compared to other current coaches.
Look at the facts...or as you say stats. What do you think counts.....FACTS/STATS??....or emotion. If i went by my emotion half the WCE team would be at the Balga tip.....but thats just not the way to go. I believe in Wooshas methadology.

The thing is Clarko has put his team in a position to win the flag for the last 3 years. Woosha not so much.
