Jako was talking about getting suma back from the enemy last night on Sen, he's been a 2 ic for what at least 10 years now. Under Woosha and Lyon, surely he's worth a look.
Would rather woosh than burns.

suma over Roos....Roosy loves himself and has done less in AFL than Woosh. If Woosh does go please get Suma!....but i do believe Woosh will stay, and maybe Burnsmight get the old choperoni....our midfield is shithouse. Great defence and great forward line....just need a better midfield setup. Very impressed with Hutchings and Dalziel....and Masto....f..k the rest off.

I think Woosh is staying....thats why Coxy told me he is ...derr!

good call about our prima donnas...A selwood Cox Butler Schofield and Waters all think they are the shit ....what they are good at is turning over the ball. Embers is another supaflogg....has done effall since 2006GF....COST US THE PIES V WCE SEMI LAST YR WITH HIS TRADEMARK SCRUBBA KICK!!

oh really worsfold. so thats why you keep playing selwood or priddis or to an extent embley.

really have no clue. kerr does more than those three put together. even with a broken leg
Yeah I was thinking the same when I read that. One hand his right in the fact that Kerr has been poor over his last few games but on the other hand we have A Selwood, Cripps, Hutchings, Priddis, and the rest of the duds in our squad.

Woosha if you can't fix it then don't change it-

You Can't just drop Kerr for a dud.

You need to dial it down, mate. Lay off the caps lock.

some dude who lives next door to Woosh reckons Woosh is out, Roos in??...just posted on The Washup...

Nah mate....Wooosha wanted him gone.....do you think hed keep letting Junkie Cuz drag down the WCE?? Seriously, hes a great player Cuz...but hes not a nice person, and people need to understand that.

You are wrong. You don't know so stop pretending you do.

On Cuzzy: he is a nice person. He's a top bloke. I've met him socially. I know people who know him well. I know people at the club. He's a good bloke. Most like him. Unfortunately he's a drug addict and has let a lot of people down.

Please, stop passing off your opinion as truth because you have it wrong.

Fair call mate, but there is no such thing as an incorrect opinion...and thats all it is. I am a massive Cuz fan, loved watching him play...loved it, but i am coming from a point of view that no one should take things for granted. Unfortunately, we all know someone with Bens issue and it is truly gut wrenching, but as a WCE fan it is true that he let us all down, but god he gave us some remarkable highlights. He was inspirational as a footy player, i believe he got us over the line in the 2006 Pre-Lim against Adelaide, when we were down at half time...bless him. But you know, its just an opinion too, people make decsions and he made some dreadfull ones. As said, i hope he gets well...he has my support on that matter 100%. But please dont tell me that Woosh was ok with the behaviour, cos he wasn't.

yes there is. If you had an opinion that 2 + 2 = 5 then you'd be wrong.

You said Woosha had some sort of say in his sacking. He didn't. The board met, locked themselves in a room all day and most of the night and decided they had no option to sack him. They would have spoken to lawyers and an array of people including Woosha, but he had no real power over the decision. You also said Cuzzy is not a nice bloke.

You're making shit up on an internet forum.

I dont care whether he is a nice person or not, its not the then nice guy league. Cuz was a damn good footballer (which was his job), and could run rings around pretty much all of our current list on ability and heart. I know a lot of people would disagree with me, but as long as our players arent going out and hurting people on purpose off field, then i dont care if we have the clean cut image or not. Winning games is what its all about..

Dude, im not making shit up, you dont think the board members took into account fellow coaches and players opinions? I stand corrected with the "Hes not a nice bloke"...poor use of words on my part...what i meant was his actions indicate to me that i dont believe he is a nice bloke....and thats my opinion mate, because i know someone personally that has lived like Ben, and i dont like that behaviour and i dont like it when people let my club down. I m a WCE fan bud, i'm not interested in our players personal lives whatsoever, but when they do things that hurt my club, it shits me ok. Thats my opinion?
AFL players have a fantastic opportunity to earn great money doing a job they love, so why take advantage of that?
I wont be commenting again on this subject. Its long over.

I disagree mate. Kids learn from thier parents and friends about what is right and wrong, and if you teach them the right values and educate them about making good choices, i'm sure they will be fine. If they rebel a bit at some stage (just as a lot of us have) i'd be pretty sure it wouldnt be because Ben Cousins did something back in 2007, it would be more likely to be due to people they associate with. All you can do is your best to instill good values in them and trust them to learn from it imo. :)

True True...agreed totally...but what if you have kids that come from a tough background, wouldnt it be great if their idols who give them hope set a good example?
I think if you want to earn the big coin, then maybe you have to shoulder some responsibility as well? I believe thats how WCE operates nowadays anyway.

I understand where you're coming from, and i get that we all want the best for kids, but i honestly feel that kids who do come from a rough or disadvantaged background would benefit more from being surrounded by good people, who would show them a way to make better decisions and hopefully show them that sucess can be achieved through hard work and good decision, rather than just hope that by a sportsmen being almost saint like they will find the inspiration to succed. I guess i come from an era where sportsmen were paid big coin because of thier sporting ability, and it was less about an image like it is these days. It also meant people were free to be themselves and we had more characters in sport, instead of all this boring "toe the line", corporate PR speak we hear that drives people to boredom. Anyway, we've gone off topic so i'll stop. :)

Any ideas on a new midfield coach? Might not be the right thread? I know we haven't got the best cattle in there, But the cattle we have are capable of more than what we've seen lately..

When I saw you had quoted my post fivey I expected to be in trouble for posting that in here. But to my surprise I wasn't... Nice.
Hmmm black, I'm not sold on black. Maybe it's because I never really embraced him as a player.. He whinges too much, but then again so does coxy.
Surely Burns is gone after this year?
