I need to dig up that hit list of the backroom staff I posted. People said I would be going after the canteen ladies next but all these people need replacement, or at least a very serious review and be required to show cause why they should be retained! Time for the club to marry the resources with some acumen!

why is that? Has credentials and is still coaching. Didn't both he & micale leave west coast disharmoniously after disagreeing with Worsfolds ways? If Woosh goes then he can have a real crack at coaching the club the way he wanted.
Micale's a bit old now I guess & probably happy operating as manager of the Saints' player academy. Still might have some passion left for coaching at the top level mind you after having some time away to mourn the loss of his son.
 
I think Woosha will and should sign on.

He'd be leaving the football side in a pretty poor shape if he left, with a host of retirements to come over the next 24 months and a lot of journeyman that need sorting through. He should remain while the list goes through a renewal phase before he hands over to someone else.

While I really like Woosh, I think he is partly to blame for how our team is performing. His game plan and player selection has been highly questionable and the reason he needs to step aside.
 
If we were to get someone with no ties to WC I probably wouldn't mind them giving Alan Richardson a crack. Has has great success in the VFL & has worked at bulldogs, essendon, Carlton & now at port under Hinkley. Reckon he'd have a bit to offer.

I hope that's meant to read "specific types of players."

You'd think they'd already have some sort of strategic plan, with recruiting matching some sort of on field vision for the club.

Edit: If that article is accurate then I change my mind, anyone who thinks we're potential premiership fancy next year isn't fit to coach.

He's a different cat that's for sure. Not sure if there are any buddhist coffee shops near Subi for him to meditate in.
