Woosh needs to go at the end of the season.

Who are the young coaches floating around these days?

Can anyone shed some light on these guys, because i remember them being thrown around over the last few years.
Blake Caracella
Nigel Lappin

What about a Rodney Eade?

None of those

Peter sumich would be worth a look off the top of my head

Woosh looked unusually somber and expressionless tonight. His facial expression was one of someone with no answers, he didn't even look like he was present. Maybe Woosh has lost the passion.
im starting to think this, especially with his comment about being happy to leave re-signing for another contract until later in the year. Perhaps he has had enough of coaching...

Anyway, im all for someone else coming in and giving us fresh ideas, a hard edge, and maybe even a slight improvement as match day coach - you know someone who can go to plans B and C when plan A has been figured out. Woosh will go down as the "throw Hunter forward!!" match day coach.

We cant complain cos he has lead us to a premiership, but we basically have a fully fit side right now and copping a hammering at home to Richmond is unacceptable.

One of the positives of finishing outside the 8 will be the fact that the coach will be gone. We need a coach who has come from a good system like Sydney, Geelong etc. We definitely need a outsider, not a West Australian.

That's your observation. If Woosh didn't give a shit he'd walk away. He's been senior coach of one of the biggest clubs in the land for 10+ years so he's hardly doing it for the money.

For all you know, Choc could spend the other 6 days of the week at the golf course while Woosh is at the club trying to make the team better. And really, how does rational thought go when you are yelling and screaming at people?

And maybe he will, all I know is that whatever plan Woosha has in place is either a) not good enough or b) the players aren't buying into it. The first can be remedied, the second is far more concerning.

Keep ya grubby hands off our coaches...

He was ours first

Couple of years with Lyon to round out his apprenticeship will have him cherry ripe

c) players playing terrible.

Out of the following, who is playing near what we all think they can: Scooter, Rosa, Hurn, Butler, Lecca, Cox, Shuey.

Rosa is on the comeback from injury obviously, but the other 6 should be some of out best players and I haven't seen Scooter, Lecca, and Cox play this ordinary for..... well ever.

Seems unlikely given how little anything changes aroudn the place year in year out.

I agree totally. Would be interesting to see if Paul Roos wants to coach again. He would be a great fit for our club.

I want an evil Victorian with no numpty ties to anything. We were forged by one and we need another one to remember what is actually required.
Spot on, no more boys club, same old for too long, something needs to change because it looks like the players either don't care or don't want to put in for the coaches so let's mix it up and try something new for 2014 because 2013 is finished!

It's just a massive boys club that needs a shake up from top to bottom

Our squad needs a massive rebuild. We need more HFF's and HBF's who can play some decent minutes in the midfield and the midfield itself is treacle slow.

This could mean a rerun of 2008-2010 and I'm not prepared to go through that again with Worsfold. He's had his chance.

I still believe in Woosha, but there are some glaring deficiencies that need to be addressed. I think he's capable of making those calls, but they need to be made sooner rather than later.

His press conference shat me completely.

Reckon he said 'I don't know' about 20 times.

If you're going to make us sit through that shit the least you can do is give us some thoughts on where we went wrong.

Much more interested in what he does rather than what he says - its always been the way with worsfold even though it can be annoying at times

Also he did mention the areas we struggled with but didn't provide an explanation as to why. Maybe he honestly doesn't know why we didn't look sharp. Maybe he does know and would prefer to give the players a bake behind closed doors rather than in a press conference
