Reckon is Woosh does go Burns will be given the nod.

Totally agree. Also not enough blocking and working for each other occurs in games with this current midfield.I like the way Snrub thinks.
In all honesty, I have my doubts about Burns given he presides over our midfield which has struggled the last couple of seasons. The inability to take advantage of our incredible ruck combo is a concern.
Didn't he go to the Crows interview and realise just how underprepared he was for the whole thing and then chose to withdraw from others because he still had a lot to learn? Could have sworn I saw that somewhere.
What makes you so certain Worsfold won't coach next season?
Has anyone read this?: Eagles chairman Alan Cransberg wants John Worsfold to stay regardless of results

Hopefully Woosha lets the board know whether or not he intends or coaching next year sooner rather than later. But gee whizz, If we only manage another 2 or 3 wins for the rest of the year, then I would hope that the board be more ruthless and decide against renewing (if he still wants to coach) his contract, regardless of his overall coaching record. Change is definitely needed in that case.
To all those that believe word for word press releases from large organisations, then let me share with you some important material from the PR 101 business manual,
STRATEGY NO1- NEVER , NEVER , NEVER TELL THEM THE TRUTH!
Its common knowledge to never "upset" the status quo of everyday lives when large organisations are
making big decisions, thats why they always say one thing, while planning somthing completely different so that sponsors, players, staff, medicos, and all concerned dont start panicking.
When it happens it will be all stage managed , like a quick kill, they wont know what hit em, thats how they all operate, Dont you all remeber how they guaranteed Neelds job only days before they fired him with one felt swoop killed him off before the morning press could get the story, he was gone.
We will all find out come season end, finals or not .
Get a gripp people... this is one the countries most powerful sporting organisations with the best Business leaders in the country in charge,( This is not a club like melbourne ) Crainsburg is the ALCOA CEO with a turnover in the billions, he aint no mug! so Whatever is happening behind closed doors , Change is coming , and it will for the better!
When Glenn Archer made his comments about the quality of board members on AFL club boards, I did to myself that at least that is one area we are probably well ahead of the curve.
Yeah I agree about that in regards to most large organizations. But we are West Coast after all. We tend to lean towards stability and conservatism.
Do we ever do anything bold or 'outside the box'? I really do think if Woosha wants to continue, they will renew his contract, even if we only win another 2-3 games for the year. Also, Neeld was a different case, he never had any credits in bank like Woosha does.
WEST COAST EAGLES Turnover $60 million a year !! We are a BIG business,
We Make 5-6 million profit everyyear after pumping money into everything,( $5 million into Footy commission, WAFL, SUBI COUNCIL, CHARITIES, SCHOOLS , & other great causes)
We are bigger than Hungry jacks , with over 200 salaried staff , so I would say we have a big PR dept.
Neeld had no points in the bank, but remember Woosha has been talking this list up for 3 years so ,his standing is also geting to that level , Make bold statements, then you dont delivery ,your in Trouble!
I Spoke to Julie Bishop & Alan Cransberg on Friday night and neither were letting on that Woosha had "already let them know he will be resigning" as a few on here have indicated. In fact they were both glowing in their praise for him. I genuinely think his future is still in the balance - as he is repeatedly saying in the media. But that just doesn't seem to be an acceptable answer for anyone.
RU Seriuos?? What where you expecting? For them to spill their beans to you !!
A Fedreal Politician & a Blue chip company CEO wont delv into future planning & major strategical moves to anyone,,,,,,public , supporter, staff , its just not done.
Thats why they've made it into top jobs & are on the board, They make decisions without saying a thing.
You may assumme because they said nothing to you about Wooshas decision ,that nothing changes.
Do you honestly think they will let it all play out till the day Woosha makes his decision and then put plan B into action???
Cransburg didnt become the CEO leader he is by sitting back and just letting it all unfold, hes on the front foot and playing the PR spin like a CEO should , he has plan B,C,D planned & ready to go if needed. Anything less would be totally negligent of a successful CEO.
When all else fails throw insults,Typical nobody !Ya'know, with the use of the word "dickhead" a bit more, and less knowledge of who Bishop and Cransburg are, you could almost be out new Alphy![]()
We are a reasonable sized business -we are not a BIG business. $60 million is a good sized football business but a pretty small mine, as an example.WEST COAST EAGLES Turnover $60 million a year !! We are a BIG business,
Huh?We are bigger than Hungry jacks , with over 200 salaried staff , so I would say we have a big PR dept.
When all else fails throw insults,Typical nobody !
May I suggest a TAFE course or similar to brush up on your knowledge,
on the other hand, you may be happy with your level of stupidity.
