just to add fuel to the fire, ive heard about 4th hand that Roos has enrolled his kids at Aquinas for 2014.

Good lads!

I heard that Paul Roos has a ten inch **** and he'd turkey slap players with it if they misbehaved hence their fantastic discipline apart from Barry hall who apparently enjoyed it

HAHAHA! got a massive LOL out of me.

Roos can't help us, we need some fricken magician with a wand who can fix busted up players like Waters and Kerr. Doesn't matter that we have the cattle, when we can't get anything resembling the best 22 in the club on field we will always get screwed. This Messiah crap that other clubs suffer is something I don't think we have ever suffered and I'm not starting now.

Freo/Collingwood have been doing pretty well with their injuries

So did we last year.

This year we have had massive injuries in all areas bar up front and at times we have had no Midfield which is the most important area from the ground and then we have had massive injuries to our 2 major play makers from defense in Hurn and Waters.

One thing is for sure, Woosha has to go. Club needs a clean out and a fresh look. I still think we almost have the cattle to win the flag. Kennedy, Darling, Le Cras, Hurn, Mckenzie, Glass, NicNat, Shuey, Gaff, Wellington. Got a good core. Need someone who can put it together.

Prefer Alan Richardson or Mark Williams over Roos. It will be tough watching boring negative footy for a few years.

I don't particularly rate Roos that highly. On a similar level to Woosha, just with a very different brand of football.

So if Woosha decides to move on at seasons end then who would you want EH ?

I would be more than happy with Roos ( much better match day coach ) as I cant see that many other candidates that are or would be better than him.

For me worst case would be if we gave Burns the job we would then just get more of the same.

What i would like is Roo's to maybe come in for 3-4 years than hand the job to Burns who will now have good experience under two Premiership coaches with 2 different styles of the game.

Collingwood have had Thomas, Ball, Jolly and Beams out for long periods of the year. Much bigger outs than our midfield group imo. I think what has seen them do ok is their depth players. While not significantly better than ours, Bucks has been able to alter the game plan so it works.

Burns came out and said they believe the forward press is still the way to go but it's been shown up time and time again. With our injuries we cant stick with the same game plan, our coaching group is so incredibly slow to react, it's infuriating how slow Woosh is to react

i have severely mixed feelings about Roos as a coaching candidate.

dour, boring, putrid style of football to watch. it's bad enough having one WA team inflicting this plague upon the AFL.

not sure who else is out there as a solid candidate though? it's a shame that GC have improved, would be nice if bluey was getting the nudge right about now.

question is would roos change his tactics considering the game has changed significantly in the past few years. dont forget he chased for kennedy and mcglynn who arent relatively slow a season before he quit.

would def think roos would go with a different approach with our side.

You must have gone home at 3/4 time on Sunday. I thought you were still in with a chance at that point, most of you left about 20mins into the final term.

I enjoy watching Freo. I think the "putrid style of football" is a myth. It may have been true when Ross first arrived but he was always going to concentrate on their defensive play first

I think Roos would be great! Someone from the outside of WA footy and the WCE camp, with a healthy respect for the club & Woosha. He has studied the game enough to know the potential our exciting fwd line has, but we need to be defensive first & our midfield requires the "putrid style of football' as its currently pretty slow
