My mail is that most support roles in the club are held by mates. It is quite insestuous. While this isn't an issue with the key coaches it must impact culture. In particular it must impact on accountability within the club. I must say, from over here, Perth is a lot like this.

For this reason I think we need a strong outsider as head coach who can stamp his authority and be a catalyst for change. Sumich isnt my pick for this reason.
Another major change needed is a fully fledged reserves side - anything else is amateurish.

I think Woosh is staying....thats why Coxy told me he is ...derr!
,
Players are guessing because he still hasn't committed , I was told last week hes finally made up his mind and will be telling the Club this week of his decision and I think hes Going, hes held off because of family issues , but we will all know 100% this week .
Coxy will more than likely retire next year so his opinion on Woosha coaching next year is based more on defending his current coach & sentiment more than what will really happen.

Looks like we will know his decision tomorrow. Gut feeling is he is gone

Discuss with the club = I don't want to coach anymore. Worsfold is many things but he's not arrogant enough to think he can just walk into the club and say yep I'm announcing I'm going to continue as coach

I got the arse from Perth Glory on FM2010 after finishing 3rd the year after winning the A-League because the team had not met expectations.

If Worsfold does re-sign I hope it's for a lot less than he's currently on.

You got the arse?

If you think about the circumstances, if you are committed to the team and their development there is no way in hell you would enter talks until the end of the season. It's a detail that just gets in the way.

We'll see. At the moment he's made a decision. To be perfectly frank he's given signs both ways. His language darts between non-committal and committal, and then he throws curve ball about preparing the team for 'next year.'

He's still a passionate west coast man and he'd still be doing everything he can to help the club succeed. Reading between the lines I think he's going and if he does lets send him off as not only a legend of our club but the AFL

Have it on good authority that woosh is re-signing on a 3 year deal.

He wants to shake up the coaching staff which is causing some angst.

Don't be surprised to see Scott Burns moved on and Adam Selwood in a playing/assistant coach role in the midfield.
