the club needs some balls like Malthouse did in 98, and show Woosha the door.
Stuff
I tell you all this now, Worsfold aint going anywhere...the money is just way too good. The best we can hope for is that his next contract has more performance based carrots in it.
After that game today that has now extinguished the last glimmer of hope we had of making finals we need to start planning for next year and beyond now. Make a decision on whether worsfold is to continue as coach as soon as possible as the first step. If we haven't already sound out the likes of Roos, Williams, Eade to see if they have any interest in the job should it become available.
Worsfold should be told to let the club know now if he wants to continue and if he does he should have to clearly demonstrate why the club should maintain faith in him and why next year won't just be more of the same as 2013
Don't play established players who aren't 100% but play the guys who are on the fringe to see if they can show any signs of persisting with after their current contract expires or to establish their trade value. Look at what players might be available through free agency that can improve our list and target them in the same way freo did with Pearce
Regardless of whether worsfold stays look at our assistant coaches and look around the league to see who could be brought in to improve/reinvigorate our coaching panel
Recruitment and fitness staff also have to be questioned as both areas have been substandard
We look stale and bereft of ideas and I think the time is right for woosh to move on as I don't think we have a 2011 style return in us - as the year wears on that's looking more a dead cat bounce than the start of a new challenge
Keeping worsfold would be a mistake but if he stays, wholesale changes need to be made around him if it is going to work
You obviously arent a WCE supporter? The press conference.
"Hey woosh why have the players have no heart or run?"
"Yeah.... not sure"
...yeah...and then Mick was assholed...and Woosh came back...lol. Ask the Pies FC how many miss Mick??the club needs some balls like Malthouse did in 98, and show Woosha the door.
We have beaten all of those sides apart from Sydney in the last 2 years with the current squad. We almost beat a couple of them this year with half a squad. People need to stop being so negative. The team we have is capable of doing better than it has this year. Why don't we wait and see what happens instead of writing them off already.I cannot see us beating Hawthorn, Sydney, Geelong, Freo, Essendon, or Richmond. All have an upside/room for improvement/getting good players back from injury.

Typical Rubbish response from him. And typical of him, he's slow to react to anything.Info I got from presser regarding our club and what is going to happen to fix it and fix injuries etc etc...
"We are going to look at what is causing it."

Surely cransberg needs to change his tone now. From premiership favourites to now a possible bottom five finishTypical Rubbish response from him. And typical of him, he's slow to react to anything.
